I phone 2g top half of screen problem?

i have an iphone 2g and the top half of the screen does not respond to me touching it or anything the bottom half works perfectly fine its just the top with the problem what are ways that i can fix it i already tried restoring it and i still have the same problem. and my screen is nor cracked or anything
