How strict are they as you go through customs in Doha International Airport, Qatar?

I am an Australian and I'm just flying from Australia to Doha International Airport, and connecting to a flight that goes to Europe... I am worried because Ive read things (�m not sure if theyre true) that say they are using highly sophisticated drug detection equipment, and people have been arrested in the past 18 months for things like having a microscopic piece of cannabis, not even visible to the eye, stuck on the bottom of their shoe... or for having two poppy seeds embedded in their clothing after eating a poppyseed bread roll... also it said something about urine testing... it seems ridiculous and I will not be travelling if its true... if its not true then what is it really like going through customs at Doha International Airport? There are no embassies or consulates in Australia and I'm having difficulty find information...
