Does he like me again? What do you think?

ok so for the past few days my ex has been acting more and more like he likes me. i'm not sure if he really does or not though, but we text everyday, every morning he texts me though not for very long since he has school. then sometimes during the day and then every night we text and it usually last for about an hour or 2. plus recently on facebook he has been interacting more with me, like starting chat, commenting and liking my stuff, and that sort of thing. he even said that one of my pictures i posted of me was really cute, and i posted a vid that i made and he was the only one that commented on it and said he "loved it:)". plus i posted a pic of him and one of my friends(ex best friend) and at the bottom i wrote "these two have been though a lot with me. love you guys :)" and he liked it and replied with "AWWWWWW :)" before he used to just like things every once in awhile and hardly commented, but now we're commenting on almost every post. the other day i asked if we could hang out tomorrow a few days ago and he replied and seemed really happy about it, and today he asked if we were still hanging out tomorrow and i said yes and once again he was really happy. then last week when i went over to his house he scratched his name into a sticker on my laptop and then when we were watching his sister play black ops and we were sitting on he same couch (well i was laying down) and then he was like im tired and laid down next to me (but his head was by my stomach/boob area). idk if i'm just over analyzing or what, i know that he has a few girl friends at school and that he is really popular at school (especially with the girls) but i know that he would never play with my emotions, or any girl for that matter, and he made a promise with me that he will never pick a girl over whatever it is that we have. what do you think is going on?
